About Us

Since our inception in 2014, we have co-hosted multiple benefit concerts with great success and presented a number of performance opportunities for local student talent. This year, we raised nearly $10,000. We have collaborated with LifeNote to present 12 hours of continuous music for our community in an effort to raise funds for Jacob’s House, a local support organization for families with loved ones facing traumatic medical needs. Together, we raised well over $10,000 for the organization. In 2017 we hosted our summer chamber music program for students, co-hosted an annual benefit which draws upon the expansive talents of musical professionals in our region, and launched our Temecula String Project at Vail Elementary School. The funds raised enable TVCA to create and support choral groups and orchestra programs in local schools, produce recital opportunities for students, as well as support and advocate for arts education in our schools.

We also are working to support arts education in the Temecula Valley and have hosted an Arts Education breakfast for the Murrieta Valley (MVUSD) and Temecula Valley Unified (TVUSD) School Districts.

Our signature Temecula String Project has supported the string programs at TVUSD by offering a free string program to 5th grade students at several elementary schools and during the pandemic, TVCA string teacher Gina Wingfield provided assistance to TVUSD string teacher Leanne Lugo with her virtual elementary school program. In the 2021-2022-2023 school year, Mr. Wingfield assisted Mrs. Lugo at 4 elementary schools in the district.

In 2017 we started the Beginning Band Project which offered beginning band to 4th & 5th graders at 2 elementary schools. Currently, TVCA has a free beginning and intermediate band program at Summit Academy.
